Saw the movie tonight, thinking I would take a break from the serious stuff around me. I think the reviews on Netflix were pretty right on...it did feel a bit trite and beneath me, though the chest-waxing scene I will admit had me crying from laughter making my stomach hurt.
All in all, despite the fact that I'd heard a lot of good things about this movie, I'd probably recommend that you skip it.
