Wounded Pride

Got to say that one of the things I pride myself on is my ability to understand technology and business.

That’s why it hurts me to say that I have totally missed the Google (GOOG) boat. Part of my reluctance to buy the stock was due to my MSFT allegiance, but still….money is money.

In fact, when the stock hit $300, I thought, “this is ridiculous, I will sell some short.” I did. Fortunately, it took a dip (and I watched it carefully) so I made a bit of cash, but that was luck.

Bottom line: don’t listen to my stock advice.
