Are you implicitly biased?

Do you have hidden biases?

A series of tests here are designed to determine if you have an implicit preference for/against certain groups.

They have tests for elderly, Asians, Jews, disabled, etc. Some of these tests are referenced in Blink, by Malcolm Gladwell.

I took the Black vs. White test. Here's the good news...

Your Result: Your data suggest little to no automatic preference between
European American and African American.

The interpretation is described as 'automatic preference for European American' if you responded faster when European American faces and Good words were classified with the same key than when African American faces and Good words were classified with the same key. Depending on the magnitude of your result, your automatic preference may be described as 'slight', 'moderate', 'strong', or 'little to
no preference'.

Call out to Steve R. who made me aware of these and writes, "I really don’t know how valid they are (it is from Harvard, so I assume it is not a complete fraud...)
