Stitches out...

I was a bit angry with my surgeon earlier today.

He removed the bandaging and the one solitary stitch to reveal....a really small scar.

"hey, what happened to the big scar across my neck I was hoping for? You know, the one that says, 'you should see what happened to the other guy?"

Alas, he is an artist and a surgeon.

The pathology report came back. Final decision is up to the endocrinologist, but the surgeon says that the tumor was large enough to warrant the radioactive iodine treatment. We'll see. I'm going to call her now.

Also, he removed one of my parathyroid glands...which could have been the issue with the calcium. Anyway, you have multiple, so I'm just down one now.
