"If Bush wins, I'm moving to Canada..."

I must have heard this statement from about 10-20 people between the 2000 and 2004 elections. Of course, none of these people ever followed up on their statements (I did send a few of them the link to the Canadian immigration website.)

Tamar and I were talking about Hezbollah/Heathrow plot and discussing how much less safe we would feel if the Dems were in power.

"You know," I said, "I kind of want to say that if the Dems win and we start living in Nancy Pelosi-stan that I'd immigrate to Canada...but I'd probably feel less safe there."
