No nerves...

Part of the thyroidectomy involves cutting through some nerve endings. As a result, there are places where I can touch my neck, but not feel it. Kind of weird.

The doctor said that a lot of people who shave w/a blade (I'm an electric man) tend to cut themselves right above the scar (where the nerves are affected) b/c they can't feel it.
