It used to be that we all watched the same shows, pretty much. They were a part of the fabric of Americana.

Remember organizing your schedule to be home for Seinfeld of the Cosby Show?

The other day I was at a presentation where the speaker referenced "Lost."

I've heard of it, but never seen it.

You can't assume that anyone is having the same media and entertainment experience that you are having anymore.

Here's my current mix of shows (some just finished):

• Law & Order (CI/SVU), but not religiously

• Saving Grace
• Modern Marvels
• How Its Made
