Ok, so it didn't look like this, but one of the benefits of having a neighbor who is an astronomy buff is that on clear evenings, when you walk out your door to take out the trash, it is not uncommon to get hailed from the darkness and summoned to view (through a relatively large telescope) and appreciate the heavens above.Last night, I was treated to a view of...among other things...the Swan Comet.
It's definitely a humbling sight to take in the magnitude of the celestial bodies...and awe-inspiring as well.
