I think seeing tiny Estonia (1.3 million people) in action
reminded me of that. They know they
can’t compete globally without it. They
don’t have enough people, land, or natural resources.
And, when it comes to national defense, they are outnumbered
150:1 by Russia.
They can’t just throw bodies at the problem.
It reminded me of Israel.
Same idea.
Too small is a problem. But big enough to be small and small
enough to be big…that’s the balance.
