Spoke to the endocrinologist today. After reviewing the pathology report, it's a done deal. I'm going to have to go through a process called "Radioactive Iodine Treatment"
You can read all about it, but it looks like I'll be setting off airport radioactive material detectors for 3 months.
Kidding aside, it's going to be a VERY, VERY tough time for Tamar and the kids (and for me).
I'm going to meet with the endocrinologist on the 15th of August. Then, we'll figure out the exact timing.
