So a friend of mine gets pulled over for going 84mph in a 65 zone. Apparently, he's run smack-dab into the 1 week per month "super enforcement" period (there's a catchier name to it, but I don't remember) in Virginia.
$1000 fine and a 1 month license suspension!
His co-workers have to pick him up and ferry him to work. It's like carpool all over again.
He had a pretty good attitude...he hired a lawyer and went to court, but kept perspective because the guy in front of him got a 6 month suspension.
